I love this quote and I'd like to share it. From Tilopa House's Facebook post:
"The more you know about someone’s journey, the less possible it is to dislike or distrust them.” I relearn that whenever I talk to people with whom I disagree on basic issues. When we avoid hurling our beliefs at each other—and instead share the personal stories that have shaped our beliefs—our conversation becomes more generous, illuminating and resilient. How can we apply that simple truth to our political lives?
